
Sandra Clinton
I am Head of Chemistry & Physics at an outstanding sixth form college in Sussex. When I'm not at college I can be found on a bandstand conducting or playing in a brass band.

I've taught for 20 years in both secondary schools and sixth form colleges. I have an interest in science communication and extending students learning beyond the curriculum.
​
I am a Founding Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Brighton Science Festival
I've been involved in the festival since its inauguration in 2007 and have delivered workshops and talks as part of the Bright Sparks family day.

Salters Institute Teacher Fellow: 2006-2007
Producing a web based database of resources for post-16 chemistry. This included working for a week at the National Science Learning Centre.
Gatsby Teacher Fellow: 2004-2005
Through a Gatsby fellowship I developed a suite of resources for teaching A level chemistry using interactive whiteboards.
