This week I was delighted to find I have been accepted as part of the pilot cohort for the Chartered Teacher Programme. With just a 150 teachers across the country taking part in this initial phase it is a fantastic opportunity to develop as a classroom practitioner and I'm keen to get started in January. I'm under no illusion that it's going to be an easy year but I think the opportunities offered by the programme far outweigh the commitment involved. I guess it's going to be a Christmas wish list of education books for me this year :)
