Wow. What a day at the Brighton Science Festival. We had a constant stream of children aged 4-13 visit our stall to make chemical models. The most rewarding part for me was seeing my students step forward to start teaching the youngsters. Some of them were a bit lacking in confidence at first but once they got going they were excellent. By the end of the day our hands hurt and throats hurt! We didn’t really get a chance to look round the festival as it was so busy but all the kids told us it was brilliant.
